Miss me?!

Did you miss me this week? I'm sorry I haven't been here to update the blog. My computer crashed last week and I had limited internet/computer access. I have a new computer now (yay!) and will get back into the swing of daily weekday posts next Monday. And then promptly take a break for Thanksgiving!! :-) Next week's online sales are AWESOME! 2010 Holiday Helper Santa Belly Basket

This must-have basket is too cute for words!

It is Bold Red with Black and Whitewashed accents and an actual nickle buckle! The Bold Red Lid features "HO!HO!HO!" foil application. The bottom of the basket is hard wood (not woven).

The only liner available is Paprika (but why would you want anything else?!) And a protector is available as well.

Wouldn't this be a cute basket to leave cookies for Santa in?

Hostess with the Mostess

So, last Saturday, I was supposed to be in Buffalo and do a Home Show for my Mother-in-Law. Unfortunately, on my way up on Friday, my van decided to go all wonky and die on the side of the road. Ugh. I ended up being towed back home and not getting to Buffalo at all. Turned out to be not such a bad thing! My MIL held her show anyway and had three guests, plus her mother, attend. They enjoyed yummy food (not as yummy as it would have been if I had been there with my TLC Pantry Items, but still good to eat!) and good company. My MIL did a quick presentation about the new products (she has lots of them!) and then the guests made their order lists. She called me and I spoke with each guest as I entered their orders online right there. With two more outside orders, she pulled together a $600 show, netting herself 2 half-price items and $80 in free product - plus free shipping and handling. She paid only $60 for her $210 worth of products!! It PAYS to be a Hostess - even when your Consultant can't be there ;-)

Did You Know?

We all know that our baskets are hand-made (right here in the USA), right? The basketmaker signs the bottom (or sometimes the inside) with their initials. But do you know how to tell if your basketmaker was left-handed or right?! I'll tell you how. Grab a basket. Now. Go ahead, I'll wait. Got it? Ok, now hold the basket so that the top edge trim strip is facing the ceiling. Is it on the left or on the right? That's how you know if your basketmaker was left-handed or right! If the trim ends on the left side, it was made by a lefty. And those are pretty rare!!

Holiday Memories Basket

This super cute basket is functional year round, but only available for purchase Nov 1 - 30, 2010.

It is available in the traditional Warm, Rich and Deep Brown, as well as the Bold Red shown here.

It features 2 swinging handles (I love baskets with handles!) and a hard wood bottom (meaning, not woven).

This basket measures approximately 9" long, 7" wide, and 5 1/2" high. Plenty of room for family photos that you might want to swap in and out of the photo insert lid.



The WoodCrafts lid with photo insert is also available in the traditional Warm, Rich and Deep Brown, as well as the Bold Red with the snowflakes.

The lid can be hung on the wall vertically or horizontally.
